This is the completed installation of the water system expansion tank. The expansion tank allows the pressurized side system to hold hold about 3/4 of a gallon of water in the system. This means the water pump does not come on every time a faucet is turned on.
This is where I put the tank.
This is the same tank which is used in homes to keep the pipes from banging.
Tank placement with plumbers tap and turnbuckle to hold it in place.
Water lines before the tank.
Close up of the water lines at the pump.
New lines added to route the water flow past the expansion tank.
