I added this radiator valve to my sewer dump cap. For some reason the area in the sewer system between the sewer valve and the dump cap can get pressured while traveling up and down mountain passes. This valve in the cap allows me to release this air pressure before taking the cap off. Extra air pressure is not the real issue, it’s when the dump knife valve has leaked is here their could be a issue.
