Sand Hallow – Tuesday September 10, 2013

I’m setting out on the picnic table which has a nice sun cover.  It is doing a good job of keeping the rain off me and the table.
We have decided to move north tomorrow in hopes of finding sun.  The forecast for this area is clouds and rain for the next several days (including RIGHT now).  Going to C J Strike Dam south of Mountain Home, Idaho the weather forecast is at least more positive.

Crystal Mt. – Sunday August 18, 2013

Woke to a sunny cooler morning. Having our regular morning, coffee and Bailey’s with Andes’ chocolate. We plan to hike up the right side of the valley.

Here is a great picture Don took during the lighting storm last weekend. It was posted on weather.com.

This is the second post for today, Hank & I hiked up right side of the valley under The gondola.

High point.

Distance is plus a mile, the road is rocky and I was getting concern about Hank’s feet.

This sign is at the start of the road going up hill, and it is up.

Crystal Mt. – Saturday August 17, 2013

We came up here this morning.

Last night was family theatre night at Issaquah’s Village Theatre, Brian, Tanya, Christine, Don, Eric, Jean & Me. Brian is in a developmental play “Watt”. Great time and funny musical, I know “Watt” the musical for James Watt sounds strange.

Don’t know if Hank and I will get to go hiking up the valley. The road has an oil seal coat and the oil may not be dry enough for Hank to walk on It and not come off on to his paws.

Here is campsite picture taken with IPad.
