I was setting outside enjoying the warm sunny weather and started to get an itch for fishing.
Then I looked at the weather report for Ennis Montana.
Oops, that 15° and snow doesn’t look as good as the weather here.

Here’s why we stayed in Arizona
Finally baseball
Spring Training has not started and at this point not sure we will see any baseball at all this year. The Spring Season is currently canceled through March 16, 2022. The players contract ended last December and the owners locked the players out until they have a sign collective bargaining agreement.
We will see, at this point at least the weather is nice here.
I just spent some time writing posts for the end of February.
Going to Discount Tire today to get the new tires installed.
Getting tires at Discount Tire has not worked out to well. Discount did not have the equipment to change the tires on a motorhome. They only had a 3/4 inch air gun which is not big enough to even get the lug nuts off the coach. After trying for a hour they decided they could not get the tires off and at this point I’m not sure they could even mount the tires on the rims.
The store manager called several places and final found a TravelCenter America Truck Stop 16 miles up he road who said they could mount the new tires. The Discount Tire manager wanted me to put the six new tires inside our coach and go the the TA Truck Stop. I said we didn’t have room, I didn’t want new tire rubber all over the inside our coach on the furniture and carpet. One minute before I asked for a complete refund he decided one of his people would take the tires the TA Truck Stop.
When we got to the truck stop the person who said they would mount the tires was gone for the day. I lady at the counter said she would call me when they were ready to do the tires. I went out to the coach, unhooked the pickup and we waited. At 5:00 (45 minutes later) I went back into the shop office to find out if we should eat dinner or were they going to call right after we started to eat. And amazingly all of a sudden she had someone available to mount the tires.
It took the guy 3 hours to mount the tires. They didn’t have the correct equipment to get the tires off the rims so he had to do it by hand. We were the only vehicle in the shop and the other tire guy working was not about to help. He work pretty hard to get to old tires off the rims.
We left the park at 1:30 and got back to 9:15, long day for just tires.
Anyway, we have new tires.
Got to go buy all new tires today. The tires have 45,000 miles on them and the coach has 140,653 miles on it. I have to get at least two front tires because it is hard on the king pins to have tires of different sizes. When you think about how many times the tires rotate a little difference adds up over time. If I get front tires I will need to get rear tires in 15,000 miles or just over a year from now. A year from now I may get tires with a different tread design and then that makes it difficult to rotate the tires from place to place on the coach. So anyway we will have all new tires.
We have arrived at our home for two months. Currently scheduled to be here until April 11th. Spring training starts on March 26th.
At Leaf Verde RV Resort site 49 in Buckeye, AZ. We could not get into the place in Goodyear we have stayed in the past years. When I said our coach was a 2004 they said the place was all booked up for the foreseeable future.
Looks like an additional purchase while in Arizona this spring.
Found this while walking around the coach this morning, passenger side front. We hit some pretty big holes in the road on the way down, mostly in California.
Finally got to Arizona. We will be here in Quartzsite until Friday when we’ll move to Buckeye for Baseball Spring training.
The BLM host said a lot of people let four days ago, probably about 100 coaches are here.
Things we learned about Marley during this trip.
Does not like German Shepard’s
Not like dark, sound and movement he well bark and growl, you can pet his nose when he growling.
Dark ok when in his crate
Will go to bed on his own if crate door is open 8:30-8:45
Does not like peeing on dirt, likes grass
Does not like to be told where to walk
Does not like me after I have taken him out for his morning pee, but likes everybody else
Does not bite, he will reach out and grab your hand but doesn’t bite it.
Will only let Harry take him out to pee in the morning.Jean puts his harness on he will walk to the door, I can use both hands to hook up his leash and we go out for a morning pee.The rest of the day he will let me pet him with one hand at a time, if I move the other hand or a leg he runs off. If I take him outside he will stand by the steps and not take any steps away from the coach.
He likes fresh water, needs fresh water every day or he will not drink out of his bowl. He will drink out the water bowl until he goes to bed but it has to be a new bowl every morning or he will not drink.
