My Life and Travels
Brian came to Fiesta for three days.
We played cards one evening, Five Crowns. Brian won all the games we played. Jean could not beat Brian even with Marley’s help.
These are some of the pictures I took during the week.
This was a great time with the Garcia’s
We had a great time while at Pleasant Valley. Brian came over on Friday and stayed until Tuesday and the Garcia’s were there the 9 days. Had some rain on Friday night and the rest to the time is was clear and sunny. A couple of nights got down to 37 and 38 with all days in the mid 70 to 80. Measuring the amount of dirt on Jack and Bryn they had a good time but were ready to return home for some internet and WiFi.
Some days are for exploring around camp and learning new things.
We went for a lot of walks around the campground and nature trail also many trips to the river to throw rocks.
Today is Brian’s Birthday, I don’t remember how old he is but he was born in 1982.
WordPress has had an update and I maybe able to write posts offline and than upload them after they are written. The goal is to save some data, we’ll see what happens. (Didn’t work very well, I had 4 pictures and only 2 uploaded), ( I went back and added the missing pictures, see if this works)
We drove 377 miles today and got to the sun.
Here is today’s drive.
There is a north and south rest stop here with easy access to both sides so we ended up on the north side with a almost level spot where we can put out the bedroom slide. It is also 72 degrees here.
That is it for today 480 miles tomorrow.
Mike and Tanya had a lot of work to do to start to make their new trailer there’s. They made it to the gathering on Friday hoping they had not forgotten to many things. The best part is they remembered Jack and Bryn.
At Salmon Cove there are three areas for people to gather around, this is where we stayed.
The first trailer on the right is the Garcia’s then us. There are 7 RV’s in this turn around .
Tanya, Mike, Christine and myself went to the ACT Theatre in Seattle to see Brian in UrineTown. This is part of the season tickets we have for the 5th Avenue. The seats we got were front row on the left side of the stage where Brian spent most of his time, it was really fun. Jean stayed home and took care of Jack and Bryn. Jean and I have tickets for Saturday May 4 to see the show.
Had to leave the southern RV Park by 11:00 a.m. We were out by 8:30 on our way to a laundromat and then heading to the warmest place I could find. We should be so Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument by tomorrow.
After Brian’s balloon flight I had to add more pictures.
This is Bruce, his 37th Fiesta.
View from balloon.
Where they landed.
Jean took this picture while looking for her son flying in a balloon powered by hot air. Brian and Bruce stayed north and east of the RV Park.
Here are more pictures of Brian’s balloon flight. Don Clapp took these pictures while we were setting up the balloon.

Pictures of setting up the balloon and leaving earth.
Brian got to ride in a hot air balloon today, ZROZRO7 pilot Bruce Skach from Wichita,KS.
We have been crewing on Bruce’s balloon all week and we have sure learned a lot about ballooning. This is Brian’s “I’m going to fly where in what?”, look.
It is truly an honor to fly in a balloon you just got to help lay out, inflate and now get off the ground.
