Post Falls Idaho, Thursday May 13, 2021

We have stated our 2021 travels with a trip to Montana fly fishing. Current plan is to be in the Tri-Cities on June 25 to July 25 for the Garcia birthday bash.

We have a new traveler this year.

My name is Marley and I will be traveling with Jean and Harry for a while. I am sure will see a few more pictures of me in the future.

We are at Cabela’s in Post Falls, Id for the night.

Here is today’s drive., 303 miles.

Our first stop will be Ruby Creek CG on the Madison River. Below is the weather report, to be noted this is the first one I have printed that didn’t have some snow in it.

Looking forward for some good fishing or at least teach Marley to walk on a leash. He currently likes for walk around your legs which has some significant disadvantages. The hot spot I am paying for does not want to connect to my IPad so will see if I get this posted tonight.

Big House – Sunday February 14, 2021

This morning I went out to shovel the knee high snow drift in front of the house.

I found snow inside the garage.

The wind blow snow through the gap between the roof and the wall. We had lot of wind in the 60’s with gusts to 80. Snow fall was only a couple of inches, Brian 8 inches on Saturday and maybe a foot total today.

Benny looking for that perfect spot.

Ruby Creek CG, Madison River, MT – Monday September 21, 2020.

We have been in Montana since September 1, we didn’t have any internet during the first two weeks and I have been fishing most of my time fishing every day and not spending time writing here.

Today I spent a bunch of time updating the first week of this trip while in Washington on the American River with the Garcia’s and Brian. With the slow internet we have here at Ruby Creek it took me 45 minutes to get the InReach maps from the first day of travel and the drive to Montana.

I was unable to fish today because of the wind, blowing in the 20’s all day.

We have gotten 8 mice while we’ve been here, must be time to move.
