Cottonwood Campground, Navajo Lake Dam – Monday September 17, 2018

Went into the town of Navajo Dam to get a New Mexico fishing license.  The $56.00 ended up being $61.00 when all the fees were added.  This is not even close to what Montana charges, $86.00 license ends up being $115.11.

Did get some fishing in Monday afternoon.

I tied some flies in the evening, the fly shop said the fish are hitting on size 24 hooks so I needed to add more flies to my current collection. I purchased some size 24 hooks while in town this morning.

The yellow line in the river is where I fished today.

Cottonwood Campground, Navajo Lake Dam – Sunday September 16, 2018

Today we finally got to Cottonwood Campground on the San Juan River (Site 5) we will be here until 9/25/2018.  It is a really nice site with paved parking, 30 Amp electrical, water and a lot of room between sites.  The coach front window is also pointed North.  The 1.5 mile dirt road into the campground was pretty rough with some wash board and several good size holes.

The goal is to do some fishing until we leave.  Looks like I may be able to fish right here in the park and walk up the river from here.

Site 5 original scheduled to be here Tuesday September 11, 2018. The camp host saved our site.

Today’s drive:

Big House – Wednesday July 18, 2018

At the big house for a couple of days finishing a project.

When Tanya was three Dad and I built her a kitchen set; stove, refrigerator, pantry along with table and benches I had. In April I sanded them and get them ready to repaint however it was to cold to get them painted. I came home for a couple of days to paint them so they would have a couple of weeks to dry and I will take them to Jack and Bryn the second week of August.
