Drove 393 miles today and it is good to be back for more fishing. Tomorrow is going to be cold and very windy so may wait until Saturday to fish.
The river is real low this year.
Water is usually up to the grass.

We are here to spend Easter with the Garica’s.
300 Miles today 6 hours.
We stayed on the south side of I-5, the parking area is flatter than the north side.
Yes the snow is just above the rest stop.
Here are some pictures from the Siskiyou’s. The roads may have been alright in the afternoon.
We drove from Ukiah to Crescent City today, 240 miles and 5 hours.
We have a nice view of the water.

At our lunch stop we had to decide if we are going north via I-5 and the Siskiyou’s or out to the coast around the cold weather and possible snow in the mountains. Driving the coach in the snow is one of the things I try to avoid, thus it is out to the coast and an extra 250 miles and an additional day’s travel.
Today’s drive 506 miles.
We have arrived at our home for two months. Currently scheduled to be here until April 11th. Spring training starts on March 26th.
At Leaf Verde RV Resort site 49 in Buckeye, AZ. We could not get into the place in Goodyear we have stayed in the past years. When I said our coach was a 2004 they said the place was all booked up for the foreseeable future.
This morning in the light we moved to a great spot right on the edge of camping area so we have nobody close to us.
Will here today 85 ° and Sunday 87° than start heading north on Monday. First stop will be a rest stop by Boron, CA at the north end of Edwards Air Force Base.
We went to Phoenix to have dinner with Gail and Gail. Since we were in town we drove out to Queens Creek Olive Orchard to get an olive oil garlic Parmesan salad dressing we like. The orchard has a nice big parking area so we spent the afternoon setting there until we headed back to Mesa to have dinner with the Gails. We had a great time and didn’t leave until the restaurant closed. They did close early, some sort of fire in the kitchen.
The original plan was to spend Friday night at a rest stop 70 miles west of Phoenix. When we got to the rest stop they had a closed sign on one two signs at the rest stop turn off ramp. In the dark and a lot of traffic I miss read what was closed. The closed sign was for the next rest stop. We ended up driving all the way to Quartzsite. Traffic was real heavy on I-10 going both west and east. I had a semi next to me at least a third of the time. The speed limit is 75 most of the time. Our coach really handles the best at anything 65 and below. Above 65 the front end gets light and it was also windy in spots.
Where we stay in Quartzsite is just open BLM desert land.
We are pointed north toward the big house. We are in site 78 and had to pull in backwards to make it easier to get level. Five inches drop in this nice paved site.
The drive
Moving west 173 miles.
We are in site 53. When making reservations I usually go to campsite photos dot com to look at the site. However it is difficult to tell if the site is level. When we backed into this one the front was 10.25 inches low.
We ended up 1.25 inches low with the passenger side bumper 29 inches off the ground, I’ll have to measure this off the Jacks before we leave.
