After yesterday’s rain this morning was nice and sunny. Hank and I went for a walk but didn’t get to far, the wind came up and it looked like it was going to rain.
Hank decided he’d get some practice in for our future retirement (this picture was taken before we took our walk).

Hank and I went for a short walk today, we started back when it started to rain.
It is 10:45 pm, it’s still raining,
Hank and I went on two walks today, fitbit says 7.85 miles. I am getting old.

We are here for the three day weekend. This seems really strange, for the last umpteen years we have been on vacation. Usually leave home Thursday afternoon and we would be at Richard’s or southern Idaho Friday evening. In site 52, it’s a large back in.
By the way 40 days to retirement.
This is a late post however the weather at Penrose was nasty all weekend. It RAINed all day on Saturday with wind and heavy rain Saturday night. Hank and I did not get out at all on Saturday. We left at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, I wanted to get across the Narrow’s bridge before the wind got to bad.
I took this campsite picture as we were leaving Sunday morning.
On Saturday Hank has been with us for six years and I think we’ve turned him into a dog.
Not a very good picture however he’s a happy dog. We’re glad he’s part of our family.
We are out and about this weekend. Nice rainy weekend at Penrose state park. Original plan was. Belfair state park, however the park was closed. The sign on the gate said the water was off and they didn’t know when the park would open.

New spot for us, at least new for the summer. Going to Penrose State park this weekend. We go to Penrose quite often during the winter.
I’ve decided the placement of pictures and text is to much of a hassle with this phone editor. I am just going to post them and not worry about placement, when I get home and have a better editor l’ll go back and move things around.
