Bottomless Lakes SP – Roswell, NM – Tuesday October 13, 2015

Ok, one problem with a GPS unit these days is when you tell it to take to the wrong place.  It does it’s darndest to get you there.  Somewhere in the process of our pre-trip planning I put the wrong location for Bottomless Lakes State Park.
Martha (our GPS) wanted me to turn down this dirt road that leads to Pecos just outside Roswell, NM.
Here’s a road view and you can see we looped around, drove into Roswell, turned right and followed the signs to the park.

This is the drive for today, I think it was 118 miles.

At the “International” UFO Museum.

We had a good time looking around the museum and now we say we’ve been here.  Tomorrow we’ll go the history museum and learn a little more about the town.
