Great weather for baseball we had one BAD inning.
We have a lot of players with limited major league experience and it is showing.
I bet the dogs had a good time.

Nice sunny day today. Mariner’s played a split squad games and we lost both. We saw San Fran Giants win 5 to 4 and Chicago White Socks won 6 to 5.
Here is Kyle Seagar at bat.
The attendance was 4108.
Today’s temp got me thinking about spring and fishing.
Today’s high is 78 here in Goodyear, AZ.
Spring fishing hole in Montana isn’t quite up to Arizona temps, low 21 high 44.
Fall fishing is only 20 and 53. I guess I’ll need to wait a while.
Another beautiful day, high 70.
Not a great result but both teams got a lot of hits., almost a 4 hour game.
This is the depth chart for the beginning of spring training. We will see what it looks like 4 weeks from now.
Today was the first day of Spring Training baseball games. Our Saturday game was rained out, we got just over an inch of rain. Today’s high 68.
Today’s line up.
We lost 7 to 5.
Today’s drive into Goodyear 109 miles.
This is the same place we have stayed at for the last several years. They a few more homes on the lots however they are also expanding and additional 95 site just to the west of us.
This is how I had my morning coffee.
Today we drove up to Parker, AZ where Richard and Vickie have been all winter. They have a spot right on the river. People wait years to get one of these stops. A friend of their’s who talked them into coming to Parker for the winter was in the park office last fall when someone canceled their reservations. Bobbie called Vickie about the site and they took it. The office person must have been mad at all the other people on the waiting list.
Today’s drive was 298 miles to sunny Quartzsite. There seem to be a lot more people here this year than last year. We have had good weather during the drive down here.
Today was a driving day:
On the road at 6:30 a.m.
Got to Boron, Ca for the night at 4:30 p.m.
495 miles with a tail wind most of the day
We have spent many nights at this rest spot both on our trips south and also going north
Clear sunny day all day long
Wednesday will be 276 miles to Quartzsite
Boron is just north of Edwards Air Force Base.
Not much of a campsite picture but it is a rest stop.
Today is Brian’s Birthday, I don’t remember how old he is but he was born in 1982.
WordPress has had an update and I maybe able to write posts offline and than upload them after they are written. The goal is to save some data, we’ll see what happens. (Didn’t work very well, I had 4 pictures and only 2 uploaded), ( I went back and added the missing pictures, see if this works)
We drove 377 miles today and got to the sun.
Here is today’s drive.
There is a north and south rest stop here with easy access to both sides so we ended up on the north side with a almost level spot where we can put out the bedroom slide. It is also 72 degrees here.
That is it for today 480 miles tomorrow.
First day on the road for 2020.
This year will be a lot like last year.

Today’s travels, 271 miles
It’s the ever popular rest stop night. Tomorrow’s goal is Red Bluff, Ca. At least it is not raining today. We had a lot of rain in January. SeaTac Airport averages 35 inches of rain per year and Enumclaw get 50 inches of rain. Brian lives right next to the airport and they got 14 inches of rain during January. That means we got around 28 inches. Nice to be out of the rain for a while.
