Here’s our camp site for most of August. Hank & I went up the hillside towards Noble Knob, 2000 feet & 7 miles round trip.

Silver Springs – Friday July 30, 2010
In an effort to escape the oppressive heat of Enumclaw we are spending the weekend at Silver Springs.
To Stine & Zach, enjoy B’s play.
Waiting to See Brian – Wednesday July 28, 2010
Doing one of my favorite things, sitting outside a theater waiting for Tanya to see a musical Brian is in. The only thing missing is Christine. She’s studying for her first test and sick. 😦
Website Work – Tuesday July 27, 2010
Tuesday’s during the summer I can usually be found at Surprise Lake sailing one of my model sailboats. This year has not been a good year for sailing. Tuesday’s have become way to busy and most weeks I don’t get away from work until late.
Tonight it was about 6:30 when I got home. I decided it was not worth the effort to load the car and drive to the lake. Instead I had some dinner, short nap and spent some time working on the motorhome section harrylange.com.
Tomorrow Jean, Tanya and I are going to see Brian in his latest musical “The Yellow Wood” at the Seattle Center House.
Home Ownership Weekend – Sunday July 25, 2010
This weekend is a stay at home and work on the house.
We started out the weekend on Wednesday evening when we ordered an NEW washer and dryer. In the 36 years we have been married Jean has never owned a NEW washer and dryer. The new ones were scheduled to be delivered on Saturday. The deliver people called on Friday and said they’d be here between 12:00 and 4:00, they’d call 30 minutes before they would actually arrive. The new W and D were delivered at 2:00. The dryer is 29 inches wide so I had to take the back door off and when they arrived I had to also take the back door screen door off.
I am also working on the drive way and the side porch.
Here is the old side porch cover.
I started this project at 9:30 a.m. and finished at 8:30 p.m. . It was a real challenge getting the nails out from the area under the eves. All and all a long day. Here’s the finished porch.
Here’s a couple of pictures taken during a “Home improvement” project.
On Sunday I chiseled out the old cement patches in the driveway and replaced with new patching cement. Here’s the area I chiseled out.
I mixed 80 pound of patch cement to fill these and many other cracks.
This weather was nice and I really got a lot done for two days work. If anyone runs out of things to do I always have several exciting projects waiting in the wings. Harry
Penrose – Satuday July 17, 2010
New spot for us, at least new for the summer. Going to Penrose State park this weekend. We go to Penrose quite often during the winter.
I’ve decided the placement of pictures and text is to much of a hassle with this phone editor. I am just going to post them and not worry about placement, when I get home and have a better editor l’ll go back and move things around.
Working on Website – Tuesday July 13, 2010
It’s Tuesday and I usually sail model boats on Tuesday’s, however I didn’t get off work until after 6:30 p.m. so I just stayed home.
I did a little yard work, trimmed a couple of plants and spent some time working on the website: www.harrylange.com.
I have taken pictures of the improvements (I think they are) I’ve made to your motorhome and I’m slowly getting them added to the motorhome section of the site. If you want to see how I’m doing I have a site update page. It’s the last link on bottom left column of the home page Site Update Listings
Fort Flagler – Saturday July 10, 2010
Great evening at Flagler.
What you can not see in this picture is the lack of clouds. Oh, yea Lopez just hit a grand slam – M’s 4 Yankees 1, bottom 8.

Quick Post – Wednesday July 7, 2010
This is just a quick post to see if I changed the time stamp to the correct time. I think we are UTC -7 for daylight savings time. Standard pacific time would be UTC -8.
